Image
Hi! I just got back from Mother-Daughter Retreat 2022 today. Here's what we did... ~DAY 1~ Friday We arrived at Shamineau! After chapel, a neon glow party in the gym started. Here's some pictures! Me, Grammie, Whitney, Ella, and Lily  Hattie and I in our neon clothes ~DAY 2~ Saturday We did a ton of crafts today. A ton. Some of the ones we did were... Wooden pallet signs and oil candles Scrunchies and pom-pom crafts (or maybe this was on Friday, I can't remember.) We also did a couple other ones, I just don't have any pictures. In the morning and later at night, we also had chapel.  ~DAY 3~ Sunday After breakfast, we got one last hour of open rec time. Once we were done with that, we headed to chapel. It was a really fun weekend for all of us. Hope we can do it again next year too! (and again and again!)

Easter Weekend 2022 (Part 1)

Yay! It's Easter weekend now!!! This weekend is going to be so fun! I think today we're all going to Grammie and Papa's house to see Aaliyah and Zyra and then tomorrow night we're having our Easter supper at my mom's side. Sunday is Hattie's birthday and also Easter, and we're going to Nana's house for a lot of day. I can't wait for Hattie to open up her presents on her birthday. All of mine to her are done. I don't really know what else to post about! Right now Dad and Hattie are making pancakes, syrup, and bacon for breakfast. Check soon for more Easter Weekend posts. See you later!

Spring/Summer Plans

Hi again! Sorry I haven't posted in a little while. I got busy and a little distracted..hehe Anyways, I have a BUSY April coming up. Some of the things that make it busy are here... Spring Break: April 7-17 Hattie's Birthday: April 17 Easter: April 17 Some family coming over: April 22-24 Mother-Daughter Retreat (at Shamineau): April 29-May 1 Do you remember me talking about the Mother-Daugther Retreat before at all? If not, check out this post  here.  I can't wait! Other than that, I've mostly just been busy with school, friends, and more. Guess what? My mom also got me signed up for summer camp. It's in the last week of June. Speaking of June, the bash is the week before I leave! (The Bash is when a bunch of family and extended family come here for a weekend. It's tons of fun.) One last fun thing for summer; VBS! This year I'm going (again) with a friend to a ranch for horse VBS. Actually, Hattie's going too, the same days as me! She had a realllllllly...

Back From Fertile

Image
Hi again! We just got back from up north yesterday. There we all hung out with some family from my Mom's side. Here's a picture of me, Hattie, Clara (left), and Ingrid (next to Clara). My Mom's cousin also lasered water bottles for me, Lily, and Hattie. Hattie and I both got new ones, and Lily had her water she had before lasered. I chose a cat, a verse, and my name.  I'll post a pic of it later!  That's all for now. See ya later!

It mysteriously disappeared into thin air over the past hour. Wonder where it could've gone... See ya!

Cookie Baking Day/Christmas Weekend

Hi again! How's your December weekend going? Ours is pretty busy. Yesterday we had our Cookie Baking Day... Grammie came over yesterday morning at about 10:00am for Cookie Bake Day! Mom, Ella, Lily, Hattie, and I all worked a lot on a BUNCH of cookies. We made rolo turtles, peanut butter blossoms, lefsa, krumkake, biscotti, buckeyes, almond joys, butterfinger bars, and maybe more, I don't know. Can't wait until we can eat all of them at Christmas! Then later after supper we watched the Grinch. The other thing that makes this weekend busy is Christmas on Dad's side! It's tomorrow at Nana's house. Actually, it's also Thanksgiving, too. That's all for now. I'll try to post tomorrow, but I'm busy since you know, I have a Christmas celebration tomorrow. ๐Ÿ˜‰ See ya later!

Winter's Here!

Ok, it isn't OFFICIALLY winter yet, but it looks like it outside to me! Snow came down a couple days ago, and now it actually looks like December outside.  Right now it's just Dad, Hattie, and I at the house. Mom, Ella, and Lily are at a Corrie Ten Boom play and Ben is at work. Dad is watching football right now, Hattie has Luna on her lap, and I'm typing here. Not a lot of stuff has happened here tonight. I did some watercoloring and lettering earlier and made some Christmas cards, and I just finished making a smoothie for Hattie and me a little bit ago. So...that's it then! I'm getting excited for Nana's Christmas on the 19, only 10 days. See ya tomorrow!

Fondue Friday 2021!

Image
Happy Friday! Or should I say, Happy Fondue Friday?  Anyways, if you didn't know this already, Fondue Friday (I named the day) is the day after Thanksgiving when the we decorate for Christmas and have fondue. This year's fondue dippers are raspberries, bananas, strawberries, dried apricots, pretzels, marshmallows, donuts, vanilla wafers, lemon cookies, and maybe more, I can't remember. Everyone also has a couple/ton of decorations to put in her/his room. Well, except for Ella. She already decorated most of her room, and I did her mini-tree for her and helped with a couple other things. Oh, and for supper we got pizza, too. Yum! This is kind of random, but if I sleep in Hattie's room again tonight, it'll be 4 weeks that I've slept in there. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Should I go one more night...or not? Also, earlier today me, Ella, Mom, and Lily went shopping. We went to Walmart and Target, and also to Taco John's (for potato oles) and McDonald's (for fries and soda) in betwe...

Thanksgiving 2021 Part 2

So....now it's almost 6:00 and we're thinking about supper. Leaving on where I left us with Part 1, after I got changed Dad, Ben, Hattie, and I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for a while. I also crocheted for little bit while we watched, too.  Lunch was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S, by the way. We had turkey, cranberry sauce, gravy, hasselback potatoes, green bean casserole, brussels sprouts, and maybe more, I can't remember. And before lunch , Ella, Hattie, Lily, and I put on nice clothes and Ella did makeup on all of us.  A little after lunch we had pie, too. The gluten-eating people (Dad, Ella, Ben, me, and Lily) had french silk pie (at least I think that's what it was) and the gluten-free people (Mom and Hattie) had chocolate pie. Then after we had lunch and pie, we hung around for a little bit and watched Free Birds. Well, Mom, Dad, Ella, Lily, and Hattie watched it while I played games on the tablet.  That's all for now! I'll post Part 3 again later...

Thanksgiving Break!!!

Thanksgiving break has started out great! Can't wait for 5 more days of no school... I just got finished watching some Dude Perfect videos, and Mom, Ella, Hattie, and Luna are still watching them.  This is a project I've been working on lately for Christmas decorating. I found a pattern for crocheted trees that I'm working on right now, and then once you crochet them you make a chain to hang them on. If you like crocheting here's the link!  LoopTeeLoops: Christmas Tree Garland Pattern So...when do you decorate for Christmas? We decorate the day after Thanksgiving, and have fondue that day, too. So watch for a post about it on Friday... That's all for now! See ya later on my wonderful Thanksgiving break!

A Play...probably.

We just got back from church 10-15 minutes ago. We're (well, Hattie, Lily, and me) are waiting to see if we can go to play practice today. The reason we might not be able to go is because Mom still has a little bit of the 'rona. But then again, Hattie, Lily, and I don't feel sick at all. The play is actually at the same spot I did volleyball at! The musical is called "Raad Tidings," and I really hope we can go. Plus some of our neighborhood friends are going, so that makes it even better.  I'll give you an update later!

Later, with Loki too

Image
Here I am again! For lunch some of our friends brought pork roast, squash, and veggies and Grammie brought over yummy soup and blueberry muffins. Mom, Dad, Hattie, Lily, and I just got finished watching a movie, but before that I did some of history and helped Ella set up her Christmas decorations in her room.  This is kind of random, but I came across this picture of Loki and she looks so cute! She looks so adorable, just sitting there like she's a book.  Gotta go now. I'll hopelessly try  (just kidding) try to post tomorrow!

Weekends...and Wontons!?

Hey again! I'm sooo glad it's the weekend. No school for two days! Sorry the title is kind of confusing. I was just thinking about how much cream cheese wontons sound good right now. Too bad I can't have dairy (most of the time ๐Ÿ˜Š ). Not everyone is awake yet. I only know for sure that Mom, Dad, Loki, and I are awake. And that Hattie and Luna and sleeping. I know that Hattie is still sleeping because...1. She sleeps in a lot (so do I). And 2. I slept in her room again. Tonight marked the seventh night I've slept in there.  Guessss what? Now Thanksgiving is only in twelve days! Can't wait for five days of fall break to start. This year it's Nana and Paul's Thanksgiving, which is just where they have it on the actually day of Thanksgiving. It goes back and forth from Grammie and Papa's house to Nana and Paul's house. I can't wait to see them again! And have yummy food too... It frosted a little bit today. The roofs of houses got a little dusting ...

Fun on Friday

Happy Friday! Sorry I haven't posted in 12 days, and hope your November's been going well.  Mine's been...kind of covid chaotic. Ella started to not feel so good a little while ago, Dad got a fever some nights ago, and then little while ago Lily didn't feel great either. Fortunately, they're all getting a lot better. Ben, Hattie, and I are the only ones who haven't felt sick, since Mom's a little iffy.  I'm getting pretty excited for Thanksgiving. After all, it's in less than 2 weeks! And after Thanksgiving, it's Fondue Friday, when we decorate for winter and Christmas. I'm also getting excited for Thanksgiving break! School is going fine, but I'm always up for summer/thanksgiving/winter/spring break ๐Ÿ™ƒ . I used to like school more, but after a hard and/or kind of boring history curriculum and math lessons, I don't enjoy it like I used to.  I just got finished watching Toy Story 4. Dad chose it, and Hattie, Lily, him, and I were th...

Back from Utah!

Image
Guess what? I'm back from Utah! So...technically I got back last night, but I didn't have enough time to post about it until now. Here ya go! ~DAY 1~  First day in Utah We got back from the airport late, met Jamie (my uncle from Mom's side), and Ben went with him to job shadow the next day. The rest us of drove to the Air BnB and stayed up later than 1:00 in Utah time.  ~DAY 2~ Lots of hiking day Went hiking at Provo Canyon and took some pics there. Here they are! Then later we went hiking again on a mountain that had a great overlook. It was also kind of sketchy because the path was narrow-ish and slanted at some parts. Ben and Dad went up REALLY high.  I guess you had to be there to really appreciate the view.  Later for supper we went to CupBop, a Korean place, and went to see the Cougars play in a volleyball game. They won the first three sets, so the game was the shortest possible. Which was good, because we were all really tired. We got to bed pretty lat...

Utah soon!

I can't believe we leave for Utah tomorrow! The flight is late afternoon/early evening and I'm already mostly packed, since we're only staying for five nights. I also pretty much packed Hattie's whole suitcase...and helped her pack part of her busy bag. We're flying Delta I think, so I hope they'll be movie screens๐Ÿ˜. At least we don't have to leave around three in the morning...like we had to before for our vacay in Florida.  I guess that's all for now. We get to have chicken parmesan for supper. See ya later!

So busy!

This weekend is so busy! Yesterday was Ella's birthday and also Super Soccer Saturday for Hattie and Lily.   All of the Hublers (minus Ben), the Kandells, Grammie and Papa, and Zyra and Aaliyah came. I also saw someone from my volleyball team! We all had lunch there and then went to Grammie's house. For Ella's birthday supper, she chose mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, chicken, biscuits, and pie. After supper (and a yummy dessert!) we watched a movie then went home.  Right now we're getting ready for church, and after Grammie, Papa, Zyra, Aaliyah, and us will all come back here for crepes.  Do you know what's sad though? I only have four more practices/games in volleyball left. I guess it isn't that bad, because the reason why I have to stop volleyball early is cause we're leaving for Utah the next day. I still wish I could finish volleyball though.  Gotta go now!

Weekdays

Hi! Sorry I haven't posted in 12 days. I got kind of busy. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Anyways, my life's been going pretty good. I had a volleyball game last night in Andover and my team won one out of three matches. I also got hit whacked in the face with a ball. It doesn't really hurt anymore though.  School's also going good, but I still kinda wish weekdays were switched with weekends. So then we would only have two days of school and five days of weekend. But on the plus side, in one of my co-op classes we got to have donuts. I got a white frosted one with jelly inside. It's my friend's birthday today and she invited Lily and me to supper at her house tonight. She has a blog called Amongst the Wildflowers. I'm looking forward to this weekend alot. It's Ella's birthday on Saturday and some of my family is coming over too. Ella chose chicken, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and biscuits (I think) for her birthday supper, and we might also be having crepes, but I...

My Weekend

I have to admit, this weekend was pretty fun. Yesterday everyone but Ella and me left for Lily and Hattie's soccer, so the house was pretty quiet for the first part of the morning. Then for brunch (basically lunch for me, I had a late breakfast), Mom, Lily, Hattie, and I drove to the Kitchen Table and got some food. I got Maddie's breakfast, which is pancakes, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and sprinkles. Most of the afternoon I hung out with friends and then later we went to the Nowthen Fall Festival and saw some of our neighbors there! I got mini donuts, and the fireworks at the end of the night were really cool.  This morning we went to church with one of Ella's friends and had a yummy lunch once we got back. We hung out with Delaney for most of the afternoon and then closer to supper most of us were hanging out in the front yard. I practiced volleyball a little bit with my Dad, and now we're waiting for the fire to start outside.  It's been a great weekend!
