To catch you up, here's what's been going on lately in my life! ~ Christmas/New Year's Eve were pretty good for me. As always, my family went to three different Christmases. A Christmas on my dad's side, a Christmas on my mom's side, and a Christmas with just my family. It got really busy. For New Year's Eve, some family from my mom's side came over so we could have a New Year's Eve party like last year! For supper we had a ramen bar with ramen, broth, bok choy, eggs, mushrooms, onions, chicken, and other toppings. We stayed up until 12:00 playing Just Dance, Lego Rock Band, and Country Rock Band.  ~ Now that it's the New Year (and that is has been for eight days), we have to start school tomorrow. Actually, we started school last Tuesday but we only did a few subjects then like math and science. This week we're starting everything . Which is four or more subjects. Which is sort of a lot. Which is sad.  ~ On a, let's see, less DEPRESSING not...

Fourth of July

Image
Um...whoops! I haven't posted since July. Here's a couple of new posts to make up for the couple of months I didn't post a ton. I know this is a little...late, but here's what we did for the Fourth of July! The day started off pretty slow, but it turned out to be really fun. After lunch, we went to a carnival-thing in Coon Rapids (I think, and then we got ice cream at Coldstone! Here's a picture of Lily, Delaney, and me on a ride... I got mint with oreos in it. Yum! After that, we came home and ate supper. Then we went night swimming! It was a really fun fourth of July.  If you want to see my post about last Fourth of July, click on the link below. We did a BUNCH of fun things at Wild Mountain last year : Life from a Beanbag: Happy Fourth!

Easter Weekend 2022 (Part 2)

Image
Hi! My Easter Weekend's been great so far. We went over to Grammie's before lunch, and stayed there a while until going to a Vietnamese restaurant.  It was really yummy.  We also went to church on Saturday. Here's a picture of us in our Easter outfits!

Easter Weekend 2022 (Part 1)

Yay! It's Easter weekend now!!! This weekend is going to be so fun! I think today we're all going to Grammie and Papa's house to see Aaliyah and Zyra and then tomorrow night we're having our Easter supper at my mom's side. Sunday is Hattie's birthday and also Easter, and we're going to Nana's house for a lot of day. I can't wait for Hattie to open up her presents on her birthday. All of mine to her are done. I don't really know what else to post about! Right now Dad and Hattie are making pancakes, syrup, and bacon for breakfast. Check soon for more Easter Weekend posts. See you later!

Mondays and Matcha

Happy Sunday! Do you know why I'm sooo excited for Monday? We don't have school at all, since it's finally our spring break! Yay! Sadly, we still have to do a tiny bit. But not all of it! I also worked ahead in some school, so I won't have that much on Monday at all. Woohoo! The rest of April is going to go by so fast! I wrote about it  here.  My aunt and cousin are also coming Thursday so we can have Easter together. I can't wait for this weekend!  Today was also fun. I went to Caribou with a friend today and got a vanilla matcha latte (it was really yummy). I also split a half of a donut with Lily.  That's all for now! Sorry I haven't posted in a little while. See ya!

Happy New Year's Day!

Happy New Year's Day! Hope you have a great year of 2022 !!! For New Year's Eve last night I actually stayed up until 2:00 AM, not 12:00. The evening started off with...Urban Air! We all got to bring with a friend, and Ella was the only one who didn't bring a friend from the neighborhood. We got to stay a little later, which was good. Supper was a ramen bar with ramen (obviously), pork, chicken, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and bok choy (chinese cabbage). It. Was. DELICOUS! The rest of the night we played lots of Lego Rock Band, did some bingo and New Year's Scattergories, and ate snacks and some dessert, too.  At midnight we popped our own confetti balloon and confetti poppers, blew our noisemakers, and for me, ate the rest of my dessert. It was a great start to the New Year: 2022.

Merry Christmas!!! (Part 2)

Hi again! If you haven't seen Merry Christmas!!! (Part 1) you should look at that before reading this. Anyways, here's what we did today! ~CHRISTMAS DAY~ (Picking up where I last left off) When we got to Grammie's house, we all had leftovers for lunch. And of course, more cookies. An hour-ish later, the Backward Christmas started! The reason we call it the "Backward Christmas" is because instead of getting, we give! This year the charity was WorldVision. All of us split up into teams of 2 or 3. My team was Mom, Willow, and me. We had to find as many 10 dollar bills as we could to win. Once we got three, all of us "bought" a drink at the drink table. Finding 7 dollar bills got us each 5 yummy drinks. It was really fun! Then after all the dollar bills had been found, you used your "money" to pick out things to give to WorldVision.  This afternoon was mostly just hanging around, millions of cookies and other treats, and some of us had a talent sho...

Merry Christmas!!! (Part 1)

Hi again! How's your holidays been going? Here's what we've been doing... ~CHRISTMAS EVE~ (Yesterday) Once we all ate lunch, we met up with Zyra, Aaliyah, Jill's family, Grammie, and Papa at ROL for a Christmas Eve service there. When we got back, we set out a bunch of cookies and snacked on those for most of the afternoon. Christmas Eve supper was delicious. There was a bunch of different kinds of salads, fruit dip, shrimp, grilled chicken, and maybe more, I forgot. After we had more cookies and just hung out.  ~CHRISTMAS DAY~ (Today) Well...we haven't really done a ton yet. Breakfast was hashbrowns and sausage patties. Yum! In about ten minutes we're leaving for Grammie's house. Guess that's all for now! I'll post Part 2 later today so you can know more of what we did/will do. See ya!

Cookie Baking Day/Christmas Weekend

Hi again! How's your December weekend going? Ours is pretty busy. Yesterday we had our Cookie Baking Day... Grammie came over yesterday morning at about 10:00am for Cookie Bake Day! Mom, Ella, Lily, Hattie, and I all worked a lot on a BUNCH of cookies. We made rolo turtles, peanut butter blossoms, lefsa, krumkake, biscotti, buckeyes, almond joys, butterfinger bars, and maybe more, I don't know. Can't wait until we can eat all of them at Christmas! Then later after supper we watched the Grinch. The other thing that makes this weekend busy is Christmas on Dad's side! It's tomorrow at Nana's house. Actually, it's also Thanksgiving, too. That's all for now. I'll try to post tomorrow, but I'm busy since you know, I have a Christmas celebration tomorrow. 😉 See ya later!

Last Day of November...

Image
Can't believe it's the last day of November! Hope you're ready to go into the last month of the year...2021 is going by so fast!  Luna is right in front of the keyboard right now, so she's making it pretty hard to type. She's sometimes naughty when it comes to computers. One time she decided to walk on the keyboard. And turn on airplane mode. Which made the wifi not work, too. Then just now, as I was about to type something, she put in her own little message; uujhhhhh. Was she trying to spell ugh? No one knows. This picture is proof of her amusing antics: (This picture is actually titled "Luna breaks the Internet.") If you didn't know already, we do advent every year. We have a magnetic nativity, advent candles, and some books we read. This year Mom found a advent book we hadn't read yet, and so far it's really good. The introduction also said that because that book has a lot of food involved in it, it might be fun for the readers to have some...

Fondue Friday 2021!

Image
Happy Friday! Or should I say, Happy Fondue Friday?  Anyways, if you didn't know this already, Fondue Friday (I named the day) is the day after Thanksgiving when the we decorate for Christmas and have fondue. This year's fondue dippers are raspberries, bananas, strawberries, dried apricots, pretzels, marshmallows, donuts, vanilla wafers, lemon cookies, and maybe more, I can't remember. Everyone also has a couple/ton of decorations to put in her/his room. Well, except for Ella. She already decorated most of her room, and I did her mini-tree for her and helped with a couple other things. Oh, and for supper we got pizza, too. Yum! This is kind of random, but if I sleep in Hattie's room again tonight, it'll be 4 weeks that I've slept in there. 😂 Should I go one more night...or not? Also, earlier today me, Ella, Mom, and Lily went shopping. We went to Walmart and Target, and also to Taco John's (for potato oles) and McDonald's (for fries and soda) in betwe...

Thanksgiving 2021 Part 3

So here I am again after supper! We had more hasselback potatoes, turkey, gravy, and a couple other leftover dishes from lunch. Nana and Paul had also brought brisket over a couple days ago for us, so we were going to have that too, but then we ended up not having it. Well, now we'll have some for tomorrow! And of course, we also had more dessert. We had more pie, plus jello, because Ella insisted we have it at Thanksgiving.  Ben and I also played Minecraft for a little bit before dessert, too. That's it for now! See ya tomorrow on Fondue Friday!

Thanksgiving 2021 Part 2

So....now it's almost 6:00 and we're thinking about supper. Leaving on where I left us with Part 1, after I got changed Dad, Ben, Hattie, and I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for a while. I also crocheted for little bit while we watched, too.  Lunch was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S, by the way. We had turkey, cranberry sauce, gravy, hasselback potatoes, green bean casserole, brussels sprouts, and maybe more, I can't remember. And before lunch , Ella, Hattie, Lily, and I put on nice clothes and Ella did makeup on all of us.  A little after lunch we had pie, too. The gluten-eating people (Dad, Ella, Ben, me, and Lily) had french silk pie (at least I think that's what it was) and the gluten-free people (Mom and Hattie) had chocolate pie. Then after we had lunch and pie, we hung around for a little bit and watched Free Birds. Well, Mom, Dad, Ella, Lily, and Hattie watched it while I played games on the tablet.  That's all for now! I'll post Part 3 again later...

Thanksgiving 2021 Part 1

Happy Thanksgiving! I just got back in the house from doing the Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot is when you have a choice to do a 1 mile or 5k walk/jog/run. We did a Reindeer Run last year, too, in December.  So...guess I'll probably change from all the layers I have on since it was around 13 degrees this morning. I'll post later about the rest of my Thanksgiving though!
